Conveniently located in an inner Brisbane suburb north of the river, directly across from a train station & offering free parking; this is ideal for someone that is done with the hassle of CBD traffic.

Alongside a close-knit team of 7 accountants, you'll have the chance to work across a broad range of clients, with turnover up to $150 million!

About the role:
This is a HYBRID role, offering 2 days WFH, flexible start/end times & optional 9 day fortnight; based in the Brisbane office. This firm prioritizes career progression, with ongoing monthly, quarterly and annual internal and external training programs.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
• Assisting in the preparation and lodgment of BAS, IAS, and other statutory compliance
• Staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards
• Providing tax planning and general business advice to clientele with the support of senior team members

Skills and Experience

• 2+ years of accounting experience in an Australian public practice firm
• Current and ongoing right to work in Australia
• Enjoy creating long-standing relationships with clients
• Is positive, respectful and likes to work collaboratively
• Is undertaking or planning to undertake CA/CPA qualification - to be paid for by the firm, including study leave
