APG Workforce are seeking a Maintenance Storeperson to join our client’s busy Smithfield operation. Specialising in plastics manufacturing, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable and growing company!

The Role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be part of the reliability team, supporting production and workshop operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Raising purchase requests and following up deliveries
• Purchasing and receival of spare parts
• Liaising with suppliers and maintaining inventory levels
• Stocktake and record keeping (monthly/quarterly)
• Collecting urgent parts from suppliers if required
• Updating CMMS system records
• Assisting maintenance/reliability team with repair work (approx. 50% of time)

What We’re Looking For

• Trade background or trade assistant experience preferred
• Strong computer skills (Excel & CMMS experience highly regarded)
• LF forklift licence and EWP ticket - must have
• Previous experience in maintenance, fixed plant, or manufacturing
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and safety focused work ethic
