Position Summary:
Psychs in Schools, a rapidly expanding leader in school mental health services, is seeking two Psychologist Supervisors who are Psychologists and either Clinically or Ed/Dev endorsed board approved supervisors to strategically guide and enhance our psychological services statewide. This roles offers a unique blend of clinical supervision, operational management, and the chance to significantly impact the mental health landscape within Australian schools. Core Responsibilities:
- Provide focused, evidence-based supervision to supervisees, ensuring compliance with ethical codes and professional standards.
- Oversee the implementation of Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) and other evidence-based practices (training provided).
- Manage sensitive data and requests for access to client files in line with legal and ethical guidelines.
- Lead initiatives to develop and enhance Psychs in Schools' offerings on our Learning and Development Platform.
- Collaborate with school leaders and university placement coordinators to supervise development and address performance issues.
Your Contribution:
- Balance the dual focus of operational management with the nurturing of early-career psychologists.
- Support a caseload (number based on FTE) of provisional psychologists completing Masters placements and 5&1 internships
- Attend introductory meetings with provisional psychologists and school leadership teams onsite and online
- Triage school referrals to match with supervisee competency level and development needs
- Bring innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
- Enhance our mission to empower school communities with unparalleled mental health services.
Reports To: Directors of Psychs in Schools
Days: 2 - 5 days per week
Location: Our schools are located across Melbourne and Geelong metropolitan areas as well as rural and regional locations across Victoria. The ability to travel with own transport is a necessary part of this role.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
-Psychologists with endorsement in Clinical or Ed/Dev Psychology
- Board approved supervisor status
- Prior experience working in schools or with children and adolescents
- Knowledge and application of Feedback Informed Treatment and Deliberate Practice is desirable
