About the Opportunity
BRAMS is looking for multiple Nurse Practitioners based in Broome, WA. This newly created role reports to the Senior Medical Officer and leads advanced clinical care services within the primary healthcare clinic.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Delivering culturally safe and responsive primary health care aligned with the BRAMS Model of Care
Conducting independent patient assessments, diagnoses, and clinical decision-making
Prescribing medications under the Kimberley Standard Drug List and authorised SASAs
Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic investigations
Managing recalls, reminders, and follow-up care processes
Collaborating across departments and multidisciplinary teams
Leading and contributing to quality improvement activities and clinical audits
Participating in clinical governance and safeguarding practices for children and young people

About You
To qualify, you must hold current AHPRA registration with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner, along with demonstrated experience in a primary healthcare setting. Additionally, the following qualifications and attributes will be highly regarded:
Experience working in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (desirable)
Clinical expertise in triage, treatment, and ongoing care management
Ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary and cross-cultural teams
Cultural humility and a willingness to learn in an Aboriginal health context
Collaborative approach and ability to adapt to a diverse service environment
As our ideal candidate, you are an experienced Nurse Practitioner who is proactive, compassionate, and committed to providing exceptional care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. You are a strong communicator, open to learning, and comfortable navigating a multidisciplinary organisation.
About the Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary of $150,000 to $165,000, PLUS Super, plus a wide range of additional benefits:
