We are currently recruiting for a solution architect for a major modernisation program. The solution architect will need to have a comprehensive understanding of frameworks like TOGAF, as well as strategic vision. This individual should be hands-on, with broad experience as a senior solution architect. There is a multimillion dollar budget and a really exciting roadmap.

We are looking for someone who will be able to engage with digital vendors and assess architecture, integration, data, and security aspects so a background across application development, solution design, and data security. We need someone with experience in enterprise or corporate business systems, such as ERP, HCM, Payroll, CRM etc. This person needs to be able to determin integration requirements including middleware to facilitate these integrations. Experience building out enterprise platforms will be essential, involving careful sequencing of tasks, as some components cannot be implemented before others. This role requires a willingness to be hands-on and to adapt beyond typical responsibilities, as the company is currently operating in an immature environment. We need somone broad-minded and accepting of varying levels of maturity.

The scope of work involves modernization and transformation. The company is embarding on a journey to replace their outdated core business platform, which is heavily integrated with the Finance and CRM systems. They will also be replacing the entire ERP, finance, and accounting systems, redoing HCM and payroll, and rolling out SharePoint over the next few years so a really exciting roadmap of transformational change.

Essential skills

TOGAF certification required, with AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect certification highly desirable

Minimum of 10+ years of experience in technical roles, including 5+ years in solution and/or enterprise architecture, ideally within a large and complex environment

Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and innovative solutions across guest-facing and operational systems (e.g., CRM, PMS, booking platforms)

Proven track record of aligning technology strategy with business objectives in a fast-paced, consumer-oriented industry

Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms, plus experience with enterprise systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce CRM, or similar ERP/HCM platforms

Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience managing relationships across business units, IT teams, vendors, and external partners

Familiarity with architecture governance, technology roadmapping, and digital transformation initiatives
