Part-Time Teacher Wanted – NFP - Alternative Learning & Community Centre

Are you passionate about inclusivity and alternative methods of educational support?

Our not-for-profit Alternative Learning and Community Centre is seeking a Part-

Time Teacher to join our vibrant team. We provide a nurturing, flexible learning

environment that supports diverse learners and fosters community connection.

Position Details:

Hours: Weekday mornings 8am-12pm, Monday to Friday

Location: Mandurah

Start Date: Monday 13 th October 2025

About the Role:

You’ll be working with small groups of learners in a creative, supportive setting.

Offering home-school support to Neurodivergent children between the ages of 5-17

yrs. The role involves helping to plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to

individual needs, with a focus on holistic and social development. On a weekly basis

group activities will be set to support Neurodivergent Adults in social development.

✨ Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children, preferably of all ages

Background in special needs education is essential

Creative, patient, and adaptable teaching style

Committed to inclusive and alternative education approaches

Excellent communication skills.

Animal lover would be an advantage as a variety of little critters are onsite,

with regular interactions.

A committed flexible person willing to embark on this new venture with

enthusiasm and fearlessness.
