In this rewarding role you will work in a team environment where every day will be different. With your can-do attitude, you will be responsible for the direct care of our residents ensuring they are able to "Live Life to the Full" in our home-like environment. We are looking for care service employee to fulfill a short term part time fixed term contract of 55.5 hrs on a fornightly roster. The indidvidual will be located in our homely facility at North Turramurra, NSW 2074.
The role

This role is a Part time fixed term contract - starting from 18th of October, 2025 to 1st of August, 2026.

The shift hrs will be on week 1 and week 2 roster the following below:

Week 1

Monday Tuesday Thursday 0700-1500

Saturday 0700-1330.

Week 2

Monday 0700-1500

Tuesday 0700-1330

Thursday 0700-1500

Saturday 0700-1330

Temp position 18/10/25-01/08/2026. 55.5hrs

Please note: Only candidates with Full Australian working rights will be considered.

As a Care Service Employee, you will:

Provide emotional and social support whilst assisting residents with a range of daily life activities

Support residents with self-care including grooming, bathing and dressing

Reporting any changes of resident to the Registered Nurse on the shift duty

Assist with mobility including using mechanical lifting aids and ensuring the residents comfort

Assist in mealtimes and social activities.

Requirements

Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support/ 2nd year Nursing students who have completed 1 placement.

Experience in similar role in aged care

A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Respect for all people, regardless of background, age, gender, religion and ethnicity

Able to do night shifts

Must have a full working rights
