Job description

We are a busy café located in Castle Tower looking for an experienced Cook to join our team.

This role requires someone who can handle pressure, maintain consistency, and deliver high-quality food at speed.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook simple brunch and light Western meals

Ensure dishes are served within 15–20 minutes during busy periods

Maintain freshness, taste and presentation standards

Update and refresh the café menu (approximately every 6 months)

Train and manage kitchen staff, including kitchen hands, and build your own team

Maintain a clean, safe and efficient kitchen environment

Requirements:

Strong ability to work under pressure in a busy café environment

Fast pace, reliable and able to keep high standards of food quality and presentation

Previous café or brunch cooking experience preferred

Ability to train, guide and lead junior staff (kitchen hand)

Creative flair and willingness to contribute your own style to the menu

Flexible availability, including weekends
