As a Morning Field Ranger, you will use a company van to transport a cargo bike into the city. The role will involve picking up batteries from then van and loading them into the cargo bike, and riding the cargo bike throughout the city, swapping batteries and performing ad hoc tasks as required. This unique role blends driving with a positive community impact by optimally positioning e-bikes compliant with council parking regulations. Thus, providing an awesome community and rider experience.

This role will be focused on picking up bikes from one area and moving them to another.

Role: Night Field Ranger (Cargo Bike Rider)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Hours: 6am-2pm on a rotating roster. 3-4 days per week.

Pay Rates:

Weekday 6am-6pm: $32.31 p/hr

Saturday: $45.24

Sunday: $58.16

Public Holiday: $71.09

Responsibilities:

- Assist with e-bike deployment and retrieval

- Operate from one of our vans around Sydney to transport Cargo Bike into the CBD

- Riding the Cargo Bike throughout the city, loading the bike with batteries from the van

- Work with a team to operate a van to redistribute products as required

- Use smart device applications to locate and operate devices

- Respond to various tasks as they are assigned

- Ability to work under minimal supervision

- A team environment where safety and quality are a priority

- Troubleshoot technical issues on site

- Work with field rangers (on foot) to optimize efficiency

Requirements:

- Over the age of 25 (for vehicle insurance purposes)

- Experience driving a van in the city

- Full, unrestricted Australian driver license with a clean record

- Tech Savvy is preferred

- Ability to be very active and bend and lift up to 8 kg frequently

- A great attitude and ability to work well with others, teamwork is key to success!

- Comfortable working alone

- Previous delivery, mechanical, logistics, and inventory experience is a bonus

- Knowledge of local area geography and street layout preferred but not required.

- Comfortable with using an app to locate e-bikes
