Execution Lead (Third Founder-Type) – SAFE

Own the plan. Drive the cadence. Deliver the milestones.

SAFE is Australia’s national child safety reform platform. We are entering a critical execution phase and need a third founder-type operator — someone who thrives on discipline, structure, and delivery.

This is not a corporate theatre role. This is execution-first. You will own the plan, run the systems, and make things ship.

What You'll Do

Lock down a shippable plan in September and establish daily/weekly execution rhythms.

Take leadership brain-dumps and turn them into clear plans, ClickUp actions, and predictable reporting.

Run daily stand-ups and maintain cadence across the team.

Build and maintain a simple commercial model with clear drivers and assumptions.

Drive go-to-market operations for our soft launch to existing customers.

Stand up “What’s New in SAFE” weekly comms so the market stays informed.

Ensure stakeholder updates, governance artefacts, and privacy/security basics are always in order.

Coordinate short-term contractors and manage them to outcomes.

Prepare SAFE for funding readiness in November and deliver the capital raise by March 2026.Skills

Project management, systems and process build.

Meeting cadence and rhythm management.

Vendor orchestration and contractor accountability.

Stakeholder reporting and governance hygiene.

Commercial literacy, forecasting, and assumptions modelling.

Basic security and privacy discipline.

Candidate Profile

Experience

Proven track record as a founder, Executive, COO, or GM-level operator with end-to-end accountability.

Delivered in founder-led settings; owned plans, cadence, and outcomes.

Comfortable with enterprise partners, universities, and government conversations.

Hands-on experience shipping GTM operations.

Capabilities

Reads the room and translates vision into plans quickly.

Moves fast without being reckless.

Keeps standards high; pride in clean admin and documentation.

AI-first mindset, tech-conversant enough to track engineering constraints.

Fit

Thrives on structure, accountability, and execution discipline.

Respects sector expertise but insists on delivery.

Not precious - enforces outcomes while amplifying the vision.

Sydney-based or available in person regularly.

Nice to have

Exposure to childcare, edtech, regtech, or adjacent sectors.

Experience scaling startups using Rockefeller Habits or similar frameworks.
