The role

This role is to cover a part time permanent position of 59.5 hrs per fortnight covering the following 7- night shifts on a fortnightly roster. The night shift hrs (2215-0715) will be on week 1 and week 2 roster the following below:

Week 1

Wednesday - 2215-0715

Saturday - 2215-0715

Sunday - 2215-0715

Week 2

Monday - 2215-0715

Wednesday - 2215-0715

Saturday - 2215-0715

Sunday - 2215-0715

Please note: Only candidates with previous aged care RN in charge experience within Australia will be considered.

The role will incorporate:

Complete holistic assessments

Developing appropriate care plans

Evaluating and making clinical decisions

Guiding our care staff

Improving the quality of life of our Residents

You are a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse who endeavors to provide safe and effective direct nursing care in line with nursing best practice principles.

To achieve this, you will have:

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and demonstrated Aged Care/Hospital experience

Availability to work a rotating roster which includes morning, afternoon and night duties

Ability to communicate effectively and patiently with a range of Residents with a variety of health issues

A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with older people

Understanding of ANACC, including charting, assessments, documentation and funding submissions
