Stone Fabricator & Warehouse Storeperson – Sample Cutting & Order Fulfilment

Avant Stone is seeking a reliable and motivated team member to join us in a hybrid role that combines stone fabrication and warehouse responsibilities. You will play a key part in cutting and preparing stone samples, as well as managing customer orders, packing, and assisting with day-to-day warehouse operations. This is a hands-on position with variety and opportunities to grow into a long-term career in the stone industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Cutting and preparing stone samples with accuracy and care

Packing and dispatching customer orders to a high standard

Safely loading and unloading trucks

Assisting with stock organisation and general warehouse duties

Liaising with customers and ensuring exceptional service when required

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

Previous experience with stone, masonry, or fabrication highly regarded

Overhead crane experience preferred, as handling stone slabs is required

Forklift licence preferred (training may be provided for the right candidate)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Ability to confidently follow instructions and prioritise tasks

Driver’s licence and own reliable transport required

Availability to work Saturday mornings

Strong focus on workplace safety (OHS)
