Our client specialises in insurance and remedial construction for all building types including residential, commercial and strata, they are also undertaking bespoke high-end fit-out and renovations for our repeat clientele.

THE ROLE
As a Roofing Specialist, you’ll conduct detailed inspections, prepare insurer-ready reports and scopes of work, and ensure projects meet quality, safety, and compliance standards, all while maintaining clear and professional communication with clients, insurers, and contractors.

ABOUT YOU

You’re an experienced roofing professional with a sharp eye for detail and a solid understanding of compliance standards. You’re confident working at heights, inspecting and scoping roof repairs, and preparing detailed reports. You enjoy being out on the road, managing multiple projects, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

• Relevant trade certificate/licence (Roofing)
• 5+ years experience as a roofer
• Proven experience in roofing inspections, estimating, and scoping work (preferred but not essential)
• Knowledge of Australian Standards (AS 1562 & AS 2050)
• Strong understanding of WHS compliance and safe roof access procedures
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Valid driver’s licence and White Card
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in tablets, mobile devices, and workflow tools (Prime or similar)

DUTIES

• Conduct detailed site inspections to assess damage and prepare insurer-ready reports with photographic evidence
• Create accurate scopes of work aligned with building codes, regulations, and insurer policies using Prime
• Clearly distinguish new vs pre-existing damage in all reports
• Carry out mid-repair quality audits to ensure compliance and workmanship standards
• Maintain regular updates (minimum every 5 days) with clients and stakeholders
• Ensure all projects comply with WHS standards, industry regulations, and insurer requirements
• Keep thorough records of all inspections, communications, and project activities
