Practice Nurse (EN/EEN/RN) Required in Gympie – Casual/Permanent Part Time Position commencing September 2025. Approximately 2 days/week plus leave coverage.

About the Business

We are an established clinic in Gympie with 2 practitioners specializing in Skin Cancer Detection & Treatment and also Vasectomy. We are a busy clinic with a very friendly team who pride ourselves on the level of care we offer.

Tasks & Responsibilities

· Contributing to all aspects of patient care, practicing within their Scope of Practice as an EN/EEN/RN

· Manage health and safety outcomes including sterilizing medical instruments and maintaining the procedure rooms

· Assist the doctor with preparation of patients prior to a skin cancer check.

· Assist the Doctor competently with minor procedures.

· Assist the Doctor competently with Vasectomy.

· Work independently on wound care and removal of sutures in consultation with the doctor as needed.

· Ability to cover the leave of other nurses is essential

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will have:

· Current AHPRA registration as a Nurse (EN/EEN or RN)

· Ability to plan and facilitate management and workloads

· The ability to change and manage the unexpected

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Proven ability to work effectively within a small team

· Strong attention to client care and satisfaction

· Prior experience with the medical administration software, Best Practice, is advantageous.
