What You'll Do:

• Operate mechanised longhole drilling rigs (e.g., Sandvik DL421, DL432i) to drill blast holes as per design specifications.
• Interpret and execute drill plans, ensuring holes are drilled to the correct line, gradient, and profile.
• Conduct thorough pre-start inspections and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is safe and operational.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with Shift Supervisors and cross-functional teams to coordinate drilling activities.
• Maintain accurate records of drilling activities and equipment maintenance.

What You'll Need:

• Minimum 2 years previous underground mining experience (essential).
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks in tough conditions.
• Valid manual driver’s license and ability to operate underground vehicles with relevant RPLs.
• Strong knowledge of underground mining regulations, procedures and dangerous goods card.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and physically demanding conditions.
• Ability to follow strict procedures and safety standards.
• WA-based and available for FIFO.
