This is a recruitment pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time, and Casual appointments. Fixed Term appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur until 30 April 2026.

What is our Radiation Therapist role?

As a competent practitioner, the Radiation Therapist exercises professional judgement in providing a high level of patient care and an understanding of patient needs. This role works across all Radiation Oncology modalities performing simulation, planning and radiation treatments as requested in accordance with accepted protocols.

  • A cover letter (no more than 1 page) introducing yourself and telling us why you are interested in this role.
  • A statement (maximum 3 pages) detailing how you are able to meet Essential Selection Criteria 2, 3, 5 and 7 ONLY.
  • A copy of your current resume or CV that summarises your qualifications and eligibility for registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) and licensing with the Radiological Council WA.
  • The names and contact details of two (2) referees. It is preferable that one of your referees to have been a recent supervisor.

Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.

As well as undertaking a criminal record screening and integrity checking, you may also be required to undertake a working with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment.
