Registered Psychologist – Eating Disorders Focus (Full-Time or Part-Time)
About Us
Blueprint Psychology is a warm, collaborative, neuroaffirming practice providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for children, adolescents, and adults.
From late October 2025, we’ll be based in our new clinic on Coward Street, Mascot, close to public transport, parking, and great cafés. We are currently located nearby in Alexandria (opposite the Grounds of Alexandria).
We’re now looking for a psychologist with specialist skills in eating disorders to join our warm and friendly team. The role offers flexibility to work full-time or part-time, with the option to build a varied caseload if you’d like to work with presentations outside of eating disorders.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us
Secure salaried role – $105K–$120K FTE (pro-rata for part-time), plus super.
No KPIs or billable hour targets – client care comes first.
Full-time or part-time – choose what suits your work–life balance.
Clear expectations – for full-time, 25–28 client-facing hours per week (pro-rata for part-time), with the rest of your time for admin, supervision, and PD.
Specialist focus with variety – work primarily with eating disorders and add other presentations if you wish (neurodivergence, mood/anxiety, assessments).
Strong admin support – our reception team handles bookings, billing, and report coordination.
Collaborative team culture – fortnightly group supervision, peer consultation, and a supportive lead team.
Great resources – access to psychometric tools and digital platforms.
About the Role
You’ll provide evidence-based treatment for eating disorders in adolescents, young adults, and adults. This will include early intervention, acute phase, and recovery work, often involving families and carers.
You’ll work closely with GPs, dietitians, psychiatrists, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care. You’ll have the option to include clients outside the ED stream to maintain variety in your work.
What We’re Looking For
Please do not apply unless you meet the following mandatory requirements:
Full registration with AHPRA (Psychology Board of Australia).
Australian permanent residency or full Australian working rights.
Other essential criteria:
Experience delivering CBT-E and/or Family-Based Therapy (FBT) or Maudsley-based interventions.
Confident working with families/carers and applying neuroaffirming principles to ED therapy.
Medicare provider number (or eligibility).
WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and professional insurances.
Comfortable with complex presentations and collaborative team-based care.
How to Apply
Send your CV and a short cover letter outlining your eating disorder treatment experience to: [email protected]
Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
Our Commitment to Inclusion
We’re committed to creating a culturally safe, inclusive, and affirming workplace. We welcome applications from psychologists of all backgrounds, cultures, genders, sexualities, and lived experiences.
