About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team at DW Mathers & Co. In this client-facing role, you’ll manage your own portfolio of small business clients, providing end-to-end tax and accounting services and day-to-day advice.
You’ll work independently, but as part of a collaborative and close-knit team that shares knowledge, supports one another, and genuinely cares about client outcomes.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is confident, client-focused, and ready to grow.
You’ll have:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Australian public practice (CA/CPA qualified),
OR
Minimum 4 years’ experience and currently studying towards CA/CPA
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Excellent communication skills
Solid understanding of accounting software and systems.

We’re a fully paperless firm using platforms like Xero, Karbon, Class, Hubdoc, and HandiSoft to streamline workflows and support our clients effectively.
