Are you passionate about shaping the future of NSW through data-driven insights and economic analysis? NSW Resources is building a dynamic new team to support the establishment of the Future Jobs and Investment Authority—and we’re looking for talented economics professionals to help us deliver strategic impact.

As Manager Data and Economics, you will lead a high-performing team of analysts to deliver economic insights that support investment and job creation in coal regions. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership experience, deep analytical capability, and a track record of delivering evidence-based recommendations in complex policy environments.

Key capabilities:

  • Leadership and team development.
  • Advanced economic analysis and modelling.
  • Strategic thinking and business case development.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication.

You’ll need to have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in economics, commerce, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in economic analysis, modelling, and data interpretation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
