MOBILE PLANT OPERATOR

KTS Recycling is Melbourne’s premier resource recovery and waste transfer station operator. KTS operates four transfer stations in Melbourne’s South East and focuses on the recovery of recyclable materials to reduce waste from landfill. Our Wantirna South, Coldstream and Skye sites operate seven days a week, closing only Good Friday and Christmas Day. Wesburn is open Friday – Monday only.

Details of the position

Mobile Plant Operator needed for Knox Transfer Station, 251 George St, Wantirna South.

Overtime and penalty rates apply.

Casual position, that could result in a full time position.

Must be available Monday to Friday.

Rates are paid in accordance with the Waste Management Award.

Required to operate a material handler/front end loader. Experienced excavator operators should also apply.

Overtime and penalty rates apply when/if required to work weekends and public holidays.

What We Are Looking For

Excavator/Front end loader ticket required.

Forklift licence required.

Material handler experience preferred but not essential.

OH&S minded individual.

Customer and team focused.

Positive can-do attitude.

Hands on, self-motivated individual with the ability to motivate others.

Punctual with strong communication skills.
