About the role

S L Hire is seeking experienced Formworker Carpenters to join our team in Townsville, Queensland. This is a casual role, offering the flexibility to work as required to support our construction projects. As a Formworker Carpenter, you will play a crucial part in the successful delivery of our construction work.

What you'll be doing

Constructing and assembling timber formwork for concrete structures such as walls, columns, beams and slabs, and edge boards.

Ensuring formwork is built to specification and is structurally sound

Stripping and dismantling formwork after concrete has cured

Maintaining and repairing formwork equipment as needed

Working collaboratively with the construction team to meet project deadlines

Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Experience as a Formworker Carpenter in the construction industry

Strong carpentry skills and the ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings

Knowledge of formwork construction methods, materials and industry standards

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision

Good communication and teamwork skills

Commitment to workplace health and safety
