  • Educate tenants on their rights and responsibilities, promoting positive tenancy outcomes
  • Conduct routine, exit and entry property inspections as required and completing required property reports
  • Attend court/tribunal hearings where necessary to represent the interest of the organisation
  • Respond to tenant feedback, informal complaints, and appeals constructively and promptly to support service improvement
  • Maintain positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Actively contribute to developing and implementing strategies that connect tenants to additional support

Requirements for Success

  • Previously demonstrated experience working with vulnerable client groups
  • Community housing experience or property management experience desirable
  • Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act and NCAT process would be preferred
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office products for reporting
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Driver's Licence

Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, referee checks, and WWCC.

Your benefits

  • Rewarding work - every day you know you're making a real difference
  • Not-for-profit salary packaging, reducing your tax (details via AccessPay)
  • Free external, confidential counselling and access to chaplaincy support
  • Volunteering opportunities
  • Extra leave available including an additional public holiday, additional annual leave day on your work anniversary and the opportunity to purchase further annual leave.
