Vet Nurse

We have an exciting opportunity at All Natural Vet Care for a Veterinary Nurse to join our well-established integrative veterinary clinic on a casual basis.

Our Russell Lea Hospital is just 15 minutes from the CBD and is fitted with a wide range of facilities to support high-quality veterinary care. We have four consulting rooms, a sterile surgery, a treatment room, and a dedicated physical therapy room. The clinic is well equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, ultrasound, IM3 dental unit, Class 3B laser, and most recently a state-of-the-art Underwater Treadmill to support advanced patient rehabilitation.

You’ll be part of a highly skilled team, supported by motivated clients, in a practice known for its commitment to exceptional care.

As leaders in Integrative Veterinary Medicine, we take a holistic approach to understanding our patient’s health, combining the best of conventional western medicine with complementary modalities such as acupuncture and herbal medicine to support and improve their quality of life.

As a Vet Nurse at All Natural Vet Care, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting veterinarians during surgeries, ensuring the highest standard of surgical care and patient monitoring.

Providing support in pre- and post-operative care, keeping patients comfortable and following tailored care plans.

Helping with stock management, preparing medications, and maintaining surgical equipment

Working closely with a dedicated, passionate team in an environment where your contribution is valued and respected.

This role offers a unique opportunity for veterinary nurses looking to expand their skill set into holistic care, helping patients achieve optimal health through a blend of conventional and herbal medicine.

We are looking to cover the following shifts:

Alternate Fridays and alternate Tuesdays (opposite weeks)

Cover for sick leave, annual leave and additional support during busy periods.

Potential for additional ongoing days

About You:

At least 1+ years of experience working as a Veterinary Nurse, including surgical experience.

Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification).

A positive mindset with strong communication and client service skills.

Excellent organisational abilities with a passion for delivering high-quality care.

A reliable and adaptable team player, happy to step in when needed.

Curiosity and enthusiasm to learn more about integrative medicine.
