Location: Launceston, TAS
Employment Type: Casual (with opportunity to move into part-time or full-time)
Hourly Rate: $45 – $50 per hour + super (depending on experience)

The Role

We are seeking an Accredited Exercise Physiologist to join our team on a casual basis. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with varied caseloads and service streams, with the chance to make a genuine difference in your community.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver individualised exercise prescription and rehabilitation programs

Conduct assessments and reviews in line with best practice

Educate and empower clients to manage their health through movement

Work across multiple referral pathways, including DVA, NDIS, Medicare, private health, workers compensation, and GP referrals

Collaborate with allied health professionals and community providers

About You

You are an ESSA-accredited Exercise Physiologist who is passionate about supporting clients to achieve their goals. You thrive in a flexible, independent role but enjoy being part of a collaborative team.

Essential Criteria

Current ESSA Accreditation (Exercise Physiology)

Professional indemnity & public liability insurance

Current First Aid & CPR certifications

Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills

Desirable

Experience in aged care, chronic disease management, or rehabilitation

Previous NDIS experience

Interest in community-based health and wellness
