With a small team of qualified and experienced professional plasterers, IIL is resourced to undertake a variety of projects of all sizes, ranging from large commercial projects, residential projects, insurance restorations, and project specific requests.

Job Description
INNOVATIVE INTERIOR LININGS is currently seeking apprentices to join our team. Our current projects are located on the Central Coast. Occasionally working on two projects in a day. We work on a large variety of jobs such as commercial, insurance, renovations etc.

You will be involved in learning all aspects of this trade from experienced tradespeople and attend TAFE to study the theory side.

Your role will involve (but is not limited to):

Fixing, setting & cornicing of new or established buildings

Square setting

Sanding

Decorative cornice, ceiling roses, corbels, vents etc

Plasterboard walls/ceilings and cornice repairs including but not limited to water damage, cracks, holes, and sagging plasterboard.

Bulkheads, coffered ceilings, skylights

Wall & ceiling insulation including batts.

Installation & setting of plasterboard for exterior alfresco.

Installation of manholes
We are looking for applicants who are passionate about the trade, have a genuine interest and understanding of the type of work that is done and a positive attitude.

Requirements for the right candidate:
• Must have reliable transport
• Sound at simple maths (+ & -)
• RELIABLE
• Hard-working and can show initiative
• Presentable
• Hold a White Card
• Tools are not required for apprentices.
• Have PPE (Steel Caps and Hi-Viz)
