About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Professional to join a well-established and respected accounting firm in Brisbane. This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior finance professional to take ownership of the corporate finance division whilst being supported by a collaborative partnership structure.

The Role

As Corporate Finance Director, you will lead and expand our corporate finance services, driving business development and delivering high-value advisory services to our diverse client base. You'll have the autonomy to run your division how you see fit whilst leveraging the firm's established reputation and resources.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the corporate finance practice and develop strategic growth initiatives

Originate and execute M&A transactions, capital raisings, and corporate restructures

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and referral sources

Collaborate with partners across the firm to identify cross-selling opportunities

Mentor and develop junior team members

Represent the firm at industry events and networking functions

What We're Looking For

Extensive corporate finance experience with a proven track record in transaction execution

Prior experience within an accounting firm environment will be highly valued

Strong existing network and demonstrated ability to generate new business

Experience in originating deals through both internal referrals and external relationships

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Professional qualifications (CA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred

Leadership experience and ability to build high-performing teams
