About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Sales Assistant to join our valued Bedshed Osborne Park team. Passionate about customer service, we are looking for a conscientious team member who can contribute to the overall success of the store.

In this role you will be determining customer’s needs and managing their expectations through high quality service and expert product knowledge. This involves listening closely and understanding their questions, sourcing appropriate stock (in store or via delivery) and closing the point of sale with a satisfied customer.

You will also work on maintaining store presentation, including updating, rotating and ticketing stock, to ensure ease of access for customers and optimum sales at all times.

With a great eye for detail, you ensure all aspects of the sale are handled quickly, correctly and efficiently. You are quick to absorb new information and you work consistently to achieve your goals.

What else

Flexibility with availability and working hours is essential as some evenings, weekend and public holiday work will be required.

Bedding or furniture industry experience will be given preference , although any big box sales is favorable.

Qualifications:

Required

A minimum of 3 years' experience in sales

Exceptional negotiating skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Have an extremely high attention to customer service

Be flexible with rosters and available for weekend work

Excellent computer skills
