We provide amazing experiences for nurses aspiring to gain further experience in our areas of spinal surgery, neurosurgery, orthopaedic surgery, vascular surgery, general surgery, pain management, ENT, plastics both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery.

As a Scrub/Scout Nurse you’ll have the following skills:

A genuine passion to work within the operating Theatre

Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills

The ability to stay calm under pressure

A great sense of teamwork and effective communication skills

Effective assessment of patients, by analysing data and identifying their needs

Strong administration skills, ability to accurately record the patient journey in a timely fashion

Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement

Strong attention to detail, ensuring patient safety at all times

Ability and willingness to cross-train within clinical specialties

A genuine commitment to providing compassionate care that aligns with Wyvern Private Hospital's "Care Without Compromise" philosophy

Other Requirements:

Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse, Division 1 (AHPRA)

Minimum of 1 years’ experience working as a Scrub/Scout

Valid Working with Children Check

National Police Check

100-point ID check

Full Australian Working Rights (Sponsorships not available at this stage)
