Join our team at Northern Transportables, where we design and deliver high-quality modular buildings across the NT. We’re looking for a qualified Carpenter(s) who takes pride in their work and values safety, teamwork, and craftsmanship.
Competitive wages ($50 - $60 per hours) - including casual loading
What you’ll do:
Read and interpret plans
Cut, assemble, and finish materials with accuracy
Carry out repairs and surface prep
Work safely and maintain tidy sites
Collaborate with the team to get the job done right, first time
What we’re looking for:
Trade qualified Carpenter (Certificate required)
Minimum 3 years’ experience
NT Driver’s Licence & White Card
EWP and Working at Heights tickets (preferred)
Strong work ethic, reliability, and eye for detail
If you are a flight away from Darwin we may offer you:
Free one-way airfare to Darwin to a maximum of $500 (reimbursed after your first full pay period)
Extra 20kg luggage/tool allowance (to transport your tools)
Return airfare after successful completion of 3 months, to a maximum of $500

Try taking one of our base plans as a start and make any changes or alterations you would like and we can redesign and quote it. We don’t shoehorn you into a specific design.
