About the role

Oldmac Toyota Springwood is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and well-functioning. What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic issues in a range of vehicles

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as servicing, oil changes, brake inspections and tyre rotations

Liaise with customers to understand their vehicle issues and provide expert advice

Maintain detailed records of all work performed

Comply with all workplace health and safety policies and procedures

Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and techniques

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics or equivalent experience

3-5 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, with a proven track record of high-quality work

Safety Certificate Licence (Essential)

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
