We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a well-established, accredited Medical Clinic as part of a dynamic team in a small rural community. The medical clinic provides a broad scope of general practice to community clients, aged care residents, and VMO rights to admit patients. Presentations are a diverse range of general practice and primary health with a mix of low and high care with some respite patients.

Key Selection Criteria:

· The General Practitioner is required to be appropriately trained and experienced in the discipline of general practice

· Australian Medical Registration with APHRA

· Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or working towards (Level 3 supervision minimum)

· Minimum of 2 years experience as a general practitioner

· The General Practitioner must abide by all legislative acts governing medical practice in Victoria.

· Proven and effective communication/interpersonal skills

· Ability to build strong relationships with medical, nursing and allied health professionals to contribute to quality care delivery

· Commitment to continuous quality improvement and clinical governance

· Training in CPR, undertaken within the past three years

· Current Medical Indemnity Cover or be eligible for such

· Current Police Check and Working with Children’s Check
