ASAP Recruitment is seeking motivated Warehouse Checker/Sorters for an immediate start with our high-profile client, one of Australia’s leading Home Timber & Hardware Distributors, located in Berrinba, QLD.

Position Location: Berrinba QLD

Shift Hours: 6:00am - 4:00pm (Up to a 10-hour shift)

Pay rate: $36+

Key Responsibilities:

Checking & Sorting:

Accurately check and verify orders against dispatch lists.

Sort and prepare items for dispatch, ensuring all orders are correct and complete.

Ensure the safe handling and storage of goods in the warehouse.

Mezzanine Putaways:

Safely and efficiently place products in designated mezzanine storage areas.

Ensure proper stock rotation and labeling of items in mezzanine areas.

Assist with managing stock levels and performing stock counts.

Inventory Control:

Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as required.

Perform periodic inventory checks and assist with stock takes.

Equipment Operation:

Operate warehouse machinery such as EPJ's to assist with product movement when required.

Ensure proper maintenance and safety checks on equipment used.

Note: This position involves significant pick/packing duties

Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in checking, sorting, or inventory management.

Immediate Availability: Must be available for an immediate start, ready to contribute to the team from day one.

Reliable Transportation: Own reliable transport to commute to and from the workplace.

Physical Fitness: Ability to pass a comprehensive medical examination and physical fitness test.
