About the role

Join the team at Lake Rigging WA as a Steel erector, Tilt Panel Rigger. This role based in Perth with fifo oppurtunities for the right skills and is a crucial position within our Construction operations. As a Steel erector, Rigger, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of steel structures, mechanical rigging and playing a key part in the delivery of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

Safely install and assemble steel structures, including beams, columns, trusses, and other components including mechanical

Direct cranes and operate other equipment to lift and position steel components

Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies

Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Provided on-the-job training and mentorship to become an experienced team member

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Steel erector, Tilt up Panels, Rigger or similar role in the Construction industry

Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, plans, and specifications

Strong understanding of construction methods, rigging techniques, and safety protocols

Ability to work at heights and in a physically demanding environment

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Certification in relevant trades, such as Rigging RI, EWP and Tilt panel
