About the role

Morisset Main Street Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Dispensary Technician to join our dynamic team in Morisset, NSW. As a Dispensary Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient and safe delivery of pharmaceutical services to our nursing home patients and customers. This hands-on role will see you working with a dedicated team to ensure the highest standards of patient care. This position is highly rewarding and diverse.

What you'll be doing

Receiving, processing, and preparing daily orders for aged care facilities under the supervision of a registered pharmacist

Accurately and efficiently dispensing medications according to the doctor's instructions and medication charts

Work in a team to oversee packing and checking machines, and ensure an efficient supply of medication orders

Communicating with the management regarding stock ordering

Providing exceptional customer service and liaising with facility staff.

Adhering to all relevant legislation, regulations, and pharmacy policies and procedures

What we're looking for

A strong background in pharmacy, with at least 2 years of experience as a Dispensary Technician

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of your work

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both patients and healthcare professionals.

A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with a willingness to show leadership, good time management, and support your colleagues

Proficiency in using pharmacy software and technology

A commitment to learning and ongoing professional development and continuing education
