Our client, based in Collie, is currently looking for a Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitter to carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on a variety of fixed plant equipment to ensure production outcomes are achieved in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

Experience/Qualifications

Australian recognised Trade Certificate

Mining Experience

High Risk Licence - Dogging Basic Rigging, Forklift

Confined Space & Working with Heights Certification

Valid WA “C” class driver’s licence essential

Heavy Rigid Driver’s licence desirable

Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations desirable

Need to Know!

Site: Collie - Drive in /Drive out daily - must live within commuting distance or have accommodation arranged

Panel/Roster: 5 on; 4 off; 4 on 5 off Day Shift Only - 12 hour shifts until further notice

Opportunity

Initially a casual position with the opportunity for permanency based on performance after a qualifying period

If selected for permanency you will receive 6 weeks’ annual leave, income protection ++ other benefits
