Exciting Opportunity for Production Assistants with Forklift Experience

Our client, a leading producer of Australian food and industrial products, is looking for dedicated Production Assistants to join their team at a flour mill plant in Altona. You'll be working with a range of products including wheat, flours, bakery mixes, starches, oils, and bags for both domestic and export markets. If you have forklift experience and are ready for a dynamic role, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Shift Requirements - Availability for Both Shifts Essential:

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:15 PM
  
• Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:15 PM
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Feed raw materials into machinery

• Load heavy products (20kg)

• Stack products onto pallets

• Work on pre-mix line

• Operate a forklift to move pallets (20% of duties)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of forklift experience and a valid LF license

• Ability to handle heavy lifting

• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policies

• Good numeric and communication skills

• Reliability and a strong work ethic

• Must be entitled to work in Australia and willing to undergo a criminal history check, pre-employment medical, and/or drug & alcohol testing as required
