About the Role:
We are specifically looking for a Male Disability Support Worker to support a client in Belrose, NSW. In this role, you’ll help a male client with disabilities develop skills and engage in enriching, creative activities, providing both in-home and community support. Your work will have a profound impact, assisting the client in their journey toward independence, healing, and empowerment.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you should bring the following qualities:
Willingness to travel to Belrose, NSW, as required
Availability to work full-time, 24 hours per week on weekdays (with potential for additional hours)
Casual shift availability for flexible, client-driven hours
Confidence in engaging with male clients and building strong, positive relationships
Resilience and self-assurance when working with clients from diverse backgrounds
The ability to interact in a firm but playful manner
Experience working with high-needs clients across all age ranges (youth to elderly)
A genuine desire to support individuals with additional needs through a person-centered approach
Experience with Children and Youth with:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 3)
Anxiety
Moderate-Severe Intellectual Disability
At least 2 years of experience in Disability Support is required.
Essential Requirements:
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Employee Working with Children Check
Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks
Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificates
Valid Australian Driver's Licence with a reliable, comprehensively insured car
At least Certificate III or IV in Disability
