Overview of the Position:

Manufacturing and assembling coaxial cables and antennas following RFShop procedures and Team Leader instructions, with occasional advanced soldering required. Employees are responsible for maintaining quality and safety standards, conducting equipment testing, and escalating non-standard issues as needed. Adherence to RFShop policies, including WHS and emergency procedures, is essential.

Main Tasks:

Manufacture and assemble coaxial cables and antennas in accordance with the RFShop Assembly Procedure and instructions from Team Leaders.

Construct and manufacture cables, which may involve advanced soldering as required.

Maintain quality and efficiency by ensuring all products are produced to meet quality and safety standards.

Conduct required testing and ensure all equipment is properly calibrated according to instructions before use.

Keep the work areas tidy and organized to provide a safe working environment for all staff.

Escalate non-standard issues to the Team Leader or Warehouse Manager.

Follow all RFShop procedures, including emergency protocols, WHS policies, and guidelines in the company manuals.

Essential Requirements:

Full Drivers Licence

3+ years of Manufacturing / Assembly experience is preferred.

Proficient with MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is desirable but not mandatory.

Good understanding of Work, Health and Safety practices within manufacturing and a warehouse environment.

Advanced soldering techniques desirable.

Attention to detail.

Interest in mechanics and basic electronics.

Additional Information

We have casual hours available from 20-38h per week in September and October due to large projects, ongoing opportunities depend on candidates' skills. Some on the job training is provided, no heavy lifting required.
