About the role

Airducter is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter & Turner to join our dynamic team in Darwin, NT. As a fulltime role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and repairing a diverse range of machinery and equipment, ensuring smooth operations and maximising productivity.

What you'll be doing

Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of industrial machinery and equipment

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions

Carry out preventative maintenance inspections and recommend improvements

Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities

Collaborate with the operations team to minimise downtime and ensure efficient workflows

Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications as a Fitter & Turner or a related field

Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) as a Maintenance Fitter & Turner in a similar industrial environment

Demonstrated expertise in the repair and maintenance of a wide range of machinery and equipment

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
