Gecko Contracting is a Turf & Landscape Maintenance and Construction business based in Bibra Lake, south of the river. Our team comprises a wide range of skilled employees dedicated to helping our customers achieve their desired results. Over the past few years, we have experienced rapid growth in both our maintenance and construction divisions, and we are involved in many exciting and diverse projects within the Perth Metro area, including verge and park maintenance, streetscape maintenance, playground construction, and new school developments.

Location: Bibra Lake, Perth Metro Area

Skills and Experience:

Experience in soft & hard landscaping, including planting, turfing, paving, and limestone wall construction;

Ability to read, interpret, and manage drawings;

Machinery experience or relevant tickets (Bobcat/Excavator);

WA driver’s license (Manual preferred);

HR/MR license (desirable);

BWTM (desirable);

Strong focus on Work Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards;

Ability to make decisions independently;

Strong leadership and communication skills;

Experience in leading small teams;

An eye for detail and a desire to produce high-quality work;

Construction White Card; and

Positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Immediate start;

Work effectively within a team; and

Assist management in maintaining ISO9001, ISO45001, & ISO14001 accreditations.
