An exciting opportunity exists for a Projects focused FP&A Manager to join the Renewable Energy Infrastructure Partnering team on a permanent full-time basis.

Reporting to the Finance Partnering Manager, you will take the lead on the financial management of complex capital and development projects across the renewable energy portfolio. This role will see you driving robust financial planning, reporting, and forecasting, while partnering with key stakeholders to ensure project success.

This is a unique chance to work on high-impact energy infrastructure projects, strengthen collaboration between Finance and the business, and contribute to shaping Australia’s energy future.

Role responsibilities:

Lead financial management of capital and development projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and revenue recognition.

Manage forecasts, challenge assumptions, and highlight financial risks or opportunities.

Prepare and present monthly project financial performance reports with clear insights and commentary.

Partner with project managers, senior stakeholders, and finance teams to influence decisions and drive accountability.

Strengthen financial acumen across project teams through guidance and training.

Collaborate with Financial Control and other teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards, while improving reporting accuracy and data quality.

About you:

You will bring strong commercial and analytical capability, with proven experience supporting capital or development projects in asset-intensive environments. You’re confident influencing decisions through data-driven insights, and you thrive on partnering with both Finance and operational teams.

Solid experience in financial planning and analysis for capital projects.

Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills, with experience using project finance systems (e.g. Adaptive Planning, Power BI).

Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence across multiple teams.

Continuous improvement mindset with strong attention to detail.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.

Energy or power sector experience is highly regarded.
