About the role

We are looking for an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to join our talented team at Hodges Plumbing and Gas in Mackay, Queensland. As our Plumbing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of skilled plumbers and ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality commercial plumbing services for our diverse client base. This is a full-time position based in Mackay.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and lead a team of plumbers to ensure timely and efficient completion of commercial plumbing projects

Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project schedules and address any issues that arise

Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance

Provide guidance, training, and support to plumbers to continuously develop their skills and expertise

Manage inventory, equipment, and resources to optimise efficiency and productivity

Contribute to the planning and implementation of new plumbing systems and upgrades

Maintain detailed records and documentation related to project progress, costs, and compliance

What we're looking for

Formal trade qualification in plumbing, with a minimum of 3 years' experience working as a commercial plumber

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and your team

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address complex issues

Thorough understanding of plumbing systems, building regulations, and safety requirements

Proficient in the use of plumbing tools, equipment, and software

A valid manual driver's licence and the ability to travel to job sites as required
