About the role:
We would love to add a Marketing Generalist to the dynamic team that supports key executional and operational tasks across our content, marketing automation, CRM/CDP, communications and planning duties. The role is hands on, full time and suited to a proactive early-career marketer (0-2 years experience) who is committed to contribute meaningfully from day one, and eager to learn and absorb from each duty and its sub-functions. You’ll have guidance, structure and the opportunity to grow into a monster multi-disciplined marketer.
You’ll be mentored by experienced, seasoned marketers in a team that values initiative, heads down to get it done, high fives on the way out on a Friday and if you’re curious about the full size of the marketing funnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively and reactively maintains non-core product web content (e.g. store trading hours, FAQ’s, Terms and Conditions) in the web CMS.
Digital merchandising including website image management, supervision of Online Visual Merchandisers, landing page creation, field mapping, size charts and occasional basic image editing
Assist in preparing, monitoring and following up content calendars, planning documents, invoices and other supporting administrative activities.
Helps coordinate cross-team initiatives like launches, events, promotions e.g. buy one get one, win competitions and product sends.
Assists by proactively writing and publishing internal comms, team and business updates, announcements and other planned/last minute activities.
Works with the content and design teams to create, proof or coordinate assets for various ecommerce platforms e.g. ESP, CDP/CXP.
Supports CRM data hygiene such as updating customer records, identifying duplicates and merging accounts.
In the longer term, supports basic reporting tasks.
Support of general marketing efforts within team
Skills and Experience:
0-2 years experience in client side marketing and ecommerce, with retail experience gives you an advantage.
A qualification in marketing, digital media, comms, advertising or related and comparable fields is going to set you apart from other candidates.
Sound, strong, written communication skills are a must; being able to draft, edit and structure content clearly with or without spell check or Chat GPT is fine.
Familiarity and experience with general ecommerce platforms/software such as web CMS (Wordpress, Shopify, BigCommerce etc), ESP’s (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Hubspot etc).
Reasonably high use and understanding of docs, spreadsheets, slides, calendars and email plus any task tool is a bonus (Trello, Asana, monday.com etc).
