About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Kitchenhand to join our team at the Adelaide Cemeteries Authority in Clearview, South Australia. This part-time role will see you playing a key part in the smooth operation of our kitchen, supporting our catering staff in delivering exceptional service to our clients and visitors.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting the kitchen team with food preparation, including washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
• Setting up and packing down workstations as needed
• Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Adhering to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
• Providing exceptional customer service to clients and visitors

What we're looking for

• Prior experience as a Kitchenhand or similar role in the hospitality industry
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A passion for delivering high-quality food and service
