We are seeking a friendly and hardworking Kitchenhand to join our team at Albatross Lounge Pty Ltd

A bit about the Bar

Albatross Lounge is the flagship Hospitality venture for WS Collective Pty Ltd.

Our Entertainment bar, located in the heart of Mount Pleasant, is conveniently located in close proximity to regular public transport. Located in Level 1 of the Precinct apartment building block in Mount Pleasant.

The Bar has diverse offerings including

3 Golf Simulation stations, including one exclusive Members Simulator

Al la Carte Menu

Full stocked Bar with an extensive cocktail & drinks menu, with selected on tap beer.

Currently trading Wednesday - Sunday with plans to expand operating hours.

About the Role

This is a casual role offering roughly 20 hours per week.

Food preparation and service in a busy and dynamic kitchen

Contributing to a positive and dynamic, close knit & collaborative team

Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, whilst maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment & following all health and safety protocols

Occasionally assisting front of house with taking orders

Diverse working environment - No 2 days are the same, the bar has diverse offerings and deals with Members, Private & Semi-private group bookings & the general public.

What we're looking for

Experience in a similar kitchenhand or food preparation role, preferably in the Hospitality & Tourism industry

Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on food safety and hygiene

A positive, friendly, and hardworking attitude

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and public holidays

Experience with Square advantageous but not essential, training can be provided

Current RSA advantageous, but not essential

Current Food Handling Certificate Essential
