Strategic Vendor Engagement Officer

  • Ongoing Full-Time
  • Location: Eveleigh based with access to flexible working arrangements available
  • Salary: Clerk Grade 9/10 with base salary ranging from $129,464 to $142,665 per annum, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

We're seeking a Strategic Vendor Engagement Officer to bring energy, independence, and professionalism to our team. In this role you'll support high-level forums with polished presentations, provide secretariat services for executive meetings, and be the go-to person who ensures outcomes are delivered.

About the role

In this role, you'll be at the centre of our engagement with major IT vendors and executive leaders. You'll:

  • Coordinate and provide secretariat services for executive-level governance forums.
  • Create high-quality presentations and reports that influence senior decision-makers.
  • Track actions and outcomes to ensure our vendor partnerships deliver real value.
  • Build strong relationships across the department and with our technology partners.
  • Contribute ideas and improvements that make our governance processes smarter and more effective.

About you

  • Detail-oriented with a sharp eye for quality in documents, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Independent and proactive able to manage priorities, think critically, and take initiative.
  • Confident communicator comfortable engaging with senior executives and external stakeholders.
  • Tech-savvy able to use data, dashboards, and tools to tell a clear story.
  • Creative and clear skilled at turning complex information into professional, polished outputs.
