STOREPERSON / LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

HANDY ENVELOPES is the only family owned envelope company supplying mailing products nationwide.

Due to interstate growth there is an opportunity to join our long-standing family business. We are seeking a friendly, motivated person to join our dedicated and caring team.

This role requires the ability to grasp new concepts from instruction while working within a fast paced environment. While prior logistics experience is a plus, it's not a necessity. You will be working as part of an exceptional team that takes great pride in their work and has a strong focus on service and quality.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the General manager.

Hours: 9 AM – 1:00 PM, (some possible flexibility with start/finish times; e.g. school hours)

Flexibility to work full time hours to cover possible busy periods

Possibility of becoming permanent part time

The ideal candidate is someone who:

Can lift – 16kg capacity

Stand for an extended period

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Holds a forklift ticket or is willing to obtain one.

Self-motivation, organisational skills.

Basic computer skills and experience, including Email & freight portals

High-level attention to detail and accuracy.

The ability to manage tasks within given timeframes.

The ability to work within a team and also autonomously.

A positive nature and keen desire to excel in all aspects of the role.

Experience in a similar role would be highly regarded.

Safe use of box-cutters and other non-powered hand tools.

Liaise with other departments to provide warehouse information as requested.

Holds a valid C-class driver’s license
