Commercial Sewing is a third generation family business operating for over 40 years. We have a small team that work together to manufacture a large range of Australian Made products for mining, trucking, agriculture, shipping, cargo, government and safety product industries. We operate 630am - 230pm Mon - Fri 930am - 200pm shifts available (Ideal for parents with children at school)

Qualifications & experience

Current Fork Lift ticket (Not essential, for the right candidate we will send for training)

Excel, Word and Outlook Experience (Basic understanding to be able to obtain information for emailing and communicating with clients)

Customer Service Skills The confidence and ability to converse with clients both in person, over email and on the phone. Product knowledge will develop over time.

Basic Bookkeeping is desirable but not essential.

Be able to lift up to 20kg boxes

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Tasks & responsibilities

Follow directions to manufacture products consisting of: ROPE - Such as ladders for ships, cargo nets, safety nets etc WIRE - Hose Restraints, Cable Stockings, Wire Ladders WEBBING - Snatch straps and Tow Straps up to 200,000kg Breaking! PVC - Custom Bags and Shade Sails etc

General House Keeping Duties Sweeping, Moping, Cleaning, Tidying, Empty bins etc

Customer Service As your knowledge and experience in our products grow, we are looking for a person with the ability to develop into a customer service person in our front reception dealing with clients.
