The Role
As a Forklift Trainer & Assessor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and compliant training, ensuring learners are fully prepared for their High-Risk Work License assessments. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering forklift (LF) license training to individuals and groups.
Assessing student skills and knowledge against national competency standards.
Maintaining compliance with ASQA and licensing requirements.
Providing constructive feedback to support learner success.
Keeping training materials up to date with current legislation and industry best practice.
Working closely with the training team to continually improve course delivery.
Qualifications & Attributes
To be considered for this role, you must have:
A current High-Risk Work License – Forklift Truck (LF).
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116).
Must be an approved WorkSafe Trainer and Assessor.
Recent and relevant industry experience in forklift operations.
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work procedures.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Commitment to safety and the well-being of all individuals in the workplace.
