The $1.004 billion Beerburrum to Nambour Rail Upgrade - Stage 1 Project is transforming one of South East Queensland's most important regional passenger rail corridors. By delivering additional track, upgraded stations, new park ‘n' ride facilities, and active transport connections, the project will boost capacity, reliability, and safety for the growing Sunshine Coast communities.
We're looking for a motivated and detail-driven Senior Advisor (Governance and Reporting) to join the project team until 30 June 2029. In this role, you'll be at the heart of how the project is governed, ensuring decision-making is informed, transparent, and aligned with established frameworks. • Develop, manage, and maintain project dashboards that clearly communicate project status, risks, and progress.
• Ensure compliance with relevant governance frameworks and obligations, including federal and state reporting requirements.
• Manage project participation in audits, health checks, and assurance reviews, implementing improvements where needed.
• Collate and analyse reporting inputs from delivery partners for briefings to senior leadership.
• Refine governance frameworks, reporting tools, and templates to enable consistent and practical oversight.
• Maintain compliance with records management policies and foster collaboration across the project team and broader organisation.
About you
You're a strong communicator with a knack for turning complex information into clear, actionable insights. You have experience in governance, compliance, and reporting within a major project environment and are confident engaging with diverse stakeholders. If you're ready to apply your governance expertise to one of Queensland's most significant infrastructure projects — and contribute to a legacy that will benefit rail passengers for decades — we'd love to hear from you.
